I get home, throw on some old episode of Kitchen Nightmares, and crack open the pages. Well, how could I resist? It’s Emily freaking Henry. ![]() So, when I saw this sitting on the shelf at my favourite bookstore, stomach full of ramen, feeling more than a little down. Sick with a raging fever and the spiciest cough imaginable, there is very little out there bringing me joy that isn’t Ted Lasso. Happy Place, while not my favourite Emily Henry, is a great book – I’m just not convinced it’s for me. ![]() When it comes to contemporary romance there are very few who can compete. It’s alarming how quickly Emily Henry has become a must read and instant buy for me. ![]()
